AYUDH Pune Seva Swadhyay Sangam 2 2026

AYUDH Pune continued the 'Seva Swadhyay Sangam' Project with a harmonious blend of spiritual learning, environmental awareness, and hands-on seva.
The day began with AYUDHians chanting Amma's Ashtotharam (108 Names) and learning a Bhagavad Gita shloka 6.5 guided by Brahmacharini Niseema. Chapter 6, Verse 5: “Uddharet Atmanatmanam”, a powerful teaching that reminds us to uplift ourselves through our own thoughts, actions, and efforts. The AYUDHians reflected on how true growth begins when we take responsibility for creating positive change within ourselves and in the world around us.
Connecting beautifully with this message, Mr. Mahendra Bhagat, mentor of the project conducted an awareness talk on plastic usage and its harmful impact on the Earth. Through simple examples and discussions, the AYUDHians learnt how everyday habits can silently affect nature, animals, and future generations. The session encouraged everyone to think more consciously about the choices they make in daily life.
Turning learning into action, the AYUDHians then came together to make paper bags from waste paper as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags. Filled with teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm, the activity became a joyful experience where everyone contributed with sincerity and care.
The paper bags were later distributed to local shops, along with awareness outreach to members of the community about reducing plastic usage. The AYUDHians also interacted with local people, sharing small but meaningful messages about protecting the environment and adopting sustainable habits.
What made the project special was how the learning of Amma's teachings was not limited to discussion alone, but was practiced through action. The AYUDHians experienced firsthand how spirituality and seva can go hand in hand, where even small efforts, done with awareness and sincerity, can create a positive impact on society.
