Acceptance

I’m Arjun, and a member of AYUDH. Amma’s teachings—especially about love, service, and inner strength—have always guided me. One summer, a storm destroyed our garden - something we had cared for so lovingly and flooded the town. Many felt hopeless. I was heartbroken too, but I remembered Amma’s words: “Accept each moment with faith, and serve with love.” So I got to work—gathered seeds, cleaned the land, and invited my AYUDH friends to help. We helped families replant and started a community garden. Now, life has returned—stronger than before. When people asked how I stayed calm, i smiled and said, “The storm took our crops, but not our spirit. Amma taught us to accept, act, and love.”
