AYUDH Pune Science of Spirituality Phase 2 Post 3 2026

The conclusion of Phase 2 of the "Science of Spirituality" course in Pune marked a profound exploration of the various Shastras of Sanatana Dharma—the timeless knowledge systems developed by our ancient rishis. The AYUDHians discovered that these Shastras are not blind beliefs, but deep sciences rooted in observation, experience, and higher awareness. Many of them are, in fact, forerunners of what we today call modern science.
They studied various disciplines, gaining insight into how ancient seers observed celestial patterns, nature, and even animal behavior to interpret life’s movements. The AYUDHians saw how these sciences were seamlessly woven into daily life. Amma reminds us that these ancient sciences are not very different from traditional sciences; both seek to understand the patterns and laws governing existence. Yet, above all, she emphasizes the importance of cultivating equanimity—to remain steady and positive even when indications appear unfavourable.
The sessions beautifully aligned with the spirit of Republic Day, reminding us that India’s strength lies not only in political freedom but also in the richness of its knowledge traditions. An engaging workshop filled with interactive games helped the AYUDHians connect patriotism with pride in our intellectual and spiritual heritage. It was a celebration of Bharat’s ancient wisdom—a reminder that many branches of modern science trace their roots back to Sanatana Dharma.
The learning then flowed into the four paths of spirituality—Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Jnana Yoga. Through Amma's simple yet powerful stories on true devotion, shared in video form, participants understood that spirituality is not complex philosophy, but sincere love, selfless action, disciplined practice, and right understanding.
Week 2 SoS in Pune concluded on an inspiring note, leaving the AYUDHians motivated to integrate these timeless teachings into their daily lives with renewed clarity and purpose.
