AYUDH Bhubaneswar Promotes Water Conservation Through SIP Workshop 2026

#WaterConservation and #upcycling awareness took center stage as AYUDH Bhubaneswar recently conducted an inspiring SIP (Self-Irrigating Planter) Workshop for enthusiastic students at Jupiter Public School, #Bhubaneswar, #Odisha.

Prior to the visit, AYUDH members underwent hands-on training to prepare SIP planters using simple recycled materials. Equipped with this knowledge, they promoted sustainable gardening practices among the students. A SIP stores water at the base of the container and gradually supplies it to the plant roots, helping plants stay hydrated, especially during hot weather. During the workshop, students painted recycled plastic bottles, planted saplings, and arranged the finished planters beautifully in the school garden.

Amma says, “Nature is not outside us; it is a part of us. When we protect nature, we protect ourselves.” The workshop aimed to nurture environmental responsibility through small, meaningful actions.

The Principal of Jupiter Public School appreciated the sincere efforts of AYUDH Bhubaneswar and commended the initiative. Such workshops help AYUDH members grow as responsible and compassionate leaders through seva, teamwork, and community outreach, while planting the seeds of environmental awareness for a greener future.
