AYUDH Bhubaneshwar Organizes Amrita Janani Jagaran 2026

Empowering a woman means empowering a family, a community, and future generations. With this vision, AYUDH Bhubaneswar, Odisha, launched 'Amrita Janani Jagaran', a project dedicated to empowering village women who have had little or no access to formal education. The project aims to create opportunities for growth through language literacy, health and hygiene awareness, and skill development, in alignment with Amma's vision of holistic rural development, while inspiring AYUDHians to serve underprivileged communities through their Seva.

The project was launched by High Court Advocate of Odisha, Shri Raja Digbijay Kishore Dash, and BJP Mahila Morcha President and SHG Leader, Smt. Minati Pradhan. The launch was marked by the distribution of books and essential learning materials to each participant, symbolizing the beginning of their educational journey.

In a deeply touching moment, AYUDHians lovingly guided the women to write "Amma" in their native language, Odia, on a slate, making their very first written words a memorable and meaningful experience. For many, this was more than an introduction to literacy—it marked the beginning of a journey toward self-expression, confidence, and new possibilities.

During the event, AYUDH coordinators shared the vision, objectives, and implementation plan of the project, emphasizing the transformative role of education in empowering women and strengthening communities. The launch was combined with the project's kick-off session, during which AYUDHians conducted the first teaching session for the first group of registered participants.

As part of their ongoing Seva, AYUDHians will conduct regular sessions on language literacy, health and hygiene awareness, and skill development. These sessions aim to equip women with essential knowledge and practical skills while nurturing confidence, independence, and a spirit of lifelong learning.

Through this project, AYUDH Bhubaneswar hopes to create a lasting impact on the lives of rural women and their communities, empowering them to lead healthier, more informed, and self-reliant lives.
