AYUDH Bhubaneshwar Amritapuri visit 2026 Day 2
On Day 2 of their Amritapuri visit, the AYUDHians from Bhubaneswar walked across the serene backwaters to Amrita University’s Amritapuri campus—a journey that was simple, yet filled with anticipation and curiosity.
A special highlight was their walk through the Rudraksha garden, where they observed how the plants and trees grow in a natural and unique way—untouched, balanced, and thriving in harmony with nature. This simple experience left a deep impression on the AYUDHians, reminding them of the beauty and wisdom found in living in harmony with the natural world.
They were then introduced to various project groups and initiatives within the university, gaining a closer look at how students and researchers are working to address real-world challenges. From Wireless Networks and Applications (WNA) and landslide detection systems to the inspiring work at the Amrita School of Biotechnology and robotics, each project reflected a strong sense of purpose—to use knowledge and innovation in the service of society.
What truly stood out to the AYUDHians was learning that many of these projects were inspired and guided by Amma’s vision. The focus was not merely on academic achievement or innovation for its own sake. Students are encouraged to look beyond themselves, identify the challenges faced by communities, and work towards meaningful and practical solutions that can make a difference.
They also visited the Ayurveda College across the backwaters, where they were introduced to traditional systems of healing and holistic living. This offered them another glimpse into the way traditional knowledge and modern education come together at Amrita.
Throughout the day, they witnessed how education here goes beyond academics. It is deeply rooted in values, compassion, service, and a sense of responsibility towards society. It was a living example of how the principles of Sanatana Dharma can be expressed in the modern world—not only in temples and ashrams, but also in classrooms, laboratories, research centres, and everyday work.
Walking through the campus and interacting with the project teams made the experience even more real and relatable. For the AYUDHians, this was more than just an exposure visit. It broadened the way they looked at education, service, and their own potential to contribute to society.
The day left them with a powerful reminder: when knowledge is guided by the right intention, it goes beyond personal achievement—it becomes a force for positive change and service to the world.
