AYUDH Ahmedabad Amritapuri Visit Day 1 2025

A group of 70 AYUDH members from Ahmedabad, participants of the AYUDH "Science of Spirituality" course, made their first-ever trip to Amritapuri to meet Amma. For many, this was a long-awaited and deeply moving moment, as they had been learning about Sanatana Dharma and the significance of the Guru throughout their course.

Their DAY1 at Amritapuri was truly inspiring. It began with the sacred Gaja Puja in the ashram, followed by a visit to Amrita University. There, the AYUDHians were introduced to the university and learned how Amma guides students and research teams to use their knowledge and skills for the benefit of the world.

They toured the campus and visited key innovation centers such as Robotics Labs, the Landslide Detection research labs, and the Solar Car project. These visits gave them an opportunity to see first-hand how dedicated research and innovation can offer real solutions to pressing social and environmental challenges.

Among these, the Landslide Detection project left the deepest impression. Since certain regions of Gujarat are also prone to landslides, the students could strongly relate to the importance of such life-saving technologies. Witnessing the impact of these initiatives filled them with fresh ideas and a renewed determination to serve society.

The most awaited moment of the trip was meeting Amma. As each AYUDHian came forward to receive Amma’s Darshan, they were overwhelmed by a wave of love, peace, and compassion. Some shared that in Amma’s embrace, all worries seemed to dissolve — replaced by an indescribable sense of belonging and inner stillness. Others felt tears of gratitude as they experienced, for the first time, what it truly means to be in the presence of the Divine.

Amma lovingly inquired about their studies and AYUDH activities, encouraging them to balance spiritual understanding with selfless action for the welfare of others. Her guidance reminded the youth that true spirituality is living with awareness, compassion, and dedication in everyday life.
